Here's your stealth entry for this week. I grew up with this candle, back in Manlius, NY, the Land of Ice and Snow. When my parents got divorced in 1976, my mom started to burn this candle, as her way of saying goodbye to winter. I started to cry. She got mad at me for not wanting her to burn the candle, but I got my way. The snowman is here in Tucson with me, in this very room, 29 years later.

Tonight's stealth entry
Writer's Weekly Question #7: Is there one character that you have created that is truly you and not just a "shard?" What makes that character totally you and where does that character fit into your fiction?
Someday I'll write an answer to this. Short version:
No.

Thisaway Blue
Is this better?
I think so, but I hate those arrows. And when I deleted them I ended up with no light colored background for the entries themselves. Drat.

This is a test
This is a test of the Minima template. A blogger in your area has set up this test blog to facilitate customization of Outpost Mâvarin and other blogs without disaster along the way. If this had been actual blogging, there would have been some darned interesting entries here. As it is, this is only a test. You are instructed to read Outpost Mâvarin instead for further updates. Oh, and Messages from Mâvarin, too. Not nearly enough people read that.
